Videos/Photos!

Here is where I plan to keep some short videos and a few pictures taken from my phone while out on the water for my clients, their friends, family and everyone else to view. It’s often hard to manage the happenings on the boat and capture the moment, not to mention that I am a little technically challenged, so please accept the quality for what it is.

The "A" Team

John treated Barbara to some great Boca Grande redfishing for Barbara’s birthday gift. Here’s Barbara in action,, and again while John follows up here, and also with the biggest of the day! The reds really “chewed” today. It was a little breezy so the sound is poor, but is is a cell phone after all!

Carole with a nice Speckled Trout!

Carol with a nice Speckled Trout!

Michael and Carol Vaughn had some fun with the Redfish and Speckled Trout on light tackle. Here’s a double redfish effort, and Carol with another nice one!

Dig with a BIG Redfish!

Dick with a BIG Redfish!

Dick and Tom slipped down from Minnesota, took a break from golf and went fishing on a wedding weekend…Good move! It was a great day for Redfish on light tackle! Here is Dick in action…and again with the biggest of the day! Tom catches them too!..and Tom with one and sunscreen on the lense…Sure beats Walleye…Eh! boys:) Go Tar Heels!

Today it was the Brad, Nikki and Todd show in the backcountry. At least “big fish” Brad and “totaled it” Tood caught redfish, Nikki was the catfish queen! Here’s Brad showing off again! Todd is off to Afganistan next week…if the hurt he put on the redfish is any indication, they better look out over there!

Big Snook!

Nice Snook!

Sorry, but I forgot this anglers name, but I do remember the Snook!

Maria and Russ caught a beautiful fall day in Boca Grande along with Kingfish and lots of Spanish Mackeral! Here’s one of Maria’s many Spanish, and Russ showing how to catch a Spanish Mack on a fly! I thought I had Maria’s nice Kingfish on the phone video, but i must have deleted it. Forgive me Maria!

Matt and Amy were in town for a wedding and had a great morning catching Kingfish and Spanish Mack’s on light tackle. Here’s Amy in action!

Danielle and Kimberly tag team the snook and redfish on a  beautiful Boca Grande day!

Irwin catches a nice snook during the  “Give Kids the World Village” charity event.

Jack Sayler proves the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree…he can catch redfish like his dad used too! Here’s a doubleheader with a bonus snook teamed with Miles!

The video of Jim Rice’s tarpon would be here, if I had’nt somehow DELETED IT!  Sorry Jim. You tell everyone in Nashville you are the man, and I’ll back you up! :)

Here is Charlie Koziol with one of 5 late season tarpon we caught the end of July while out with his mom and dad. Here is one Dad caught too!

As often happens, here are a few dolphin riding our wake and having a big time as we head to the Pass for a tarpon trip.

9 year old Angel Godwin had him on, but he ended up getting away. She still got the thrill of hooking her first tarpon, and promises to be ready again next time!

Chicago’s Mark and Kevin Lilly land two nice tarpon on their first trip to Boca Grande!

Sam Schrader hosts friends Jack Phillips and John Combs for a little Tarpon action. Here’s Jacks first tarpon and John’s too!

It was a BIG Day!  Doug Davis catches a giant tarpon about 170 pounds, while Joe and Sam get a couple in the 150 pound plus range too!

After helping dip bait crabs with our crew, Nikki lands a nice Tarpon,

Yesterday I stopped by Historic Whidden’s Marina for a bag of Ice and was entertained by this mother manatee and calf who had also stopped at the dock for a cool drink of water.

7 year old William Waterhouse lands a really big tarpon, with a little help from Dad!

Sam Schrader and Joe Hitt with a pair of big 150 plus Tarpon!

Jay and Peter caught a lot of Tarpon on this trip. Peter’s videos were too long for YouTube, and I don’t know how to edit them yet, but Jay’s made the cut. Unfortunately we had two of Jay’s releases get eaten by a serious wolfpack of Bull Sharks. Here’s Jay’s first catch, and the aftermath, another one and the end. Here’s another of Jay’s catch and releases that made it. We only saw two of seven get eaten by sharks, so I guess we have to deal with the fact that Sharks have to eat too. I’m not sure why the sound from my phone sometimes refuses to transfer to YouTube, but it might be for the best in this case :)

OK, it’s a cell phone picture at night, but it’s also the last of 5 tarpon caught this trip, a big 150 pounder Brad and Teresa caught together as a team!

Teresa tames a big Tarpon, about 125 pounds, with a little bull shark action on the side…and Brad gets on the board  too with a little one at sunset.

At sunset, Brian lands his first tarpon, and it’s a big one!

Tarpon Season is here! Dave gets things started in the early morning. (Spicey language alert!)
